Museum plans tribute to women of World War II

PUNTA GORDA — The Military Heritage Museum, located in Fishermen’s Village, will be holding a reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday to honor women who served in the military or in the workforce during World War II.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
