Volunteerism blooms at city park

PUNTA GORDA — A vacant lot at Aqui Esta and Bal Harbor Boulevard has been converted into a landscaped gateway to Punta Gorda Nature Park.
That area now contains a half-dozen flower beds that have been planted with Florida-friendly flowers and shrubs.
