ARCADIA — For several years, the residents of the Arcadia Mobile Home Park have donated dozens of stuffed animals to the Arcadia Police Department to help children who are experiencing trauma.
The idea is that, when an officer is called to a domestic violence case or custody dispute, or when the APD’s Victim’s Advocate Trina Burns is asked to help, they have some plush toys to give the children, which might give them just a little more comfort and security.
