Boat Club cleans up Ponce de Leon Park

Despite the chill in the air, the Punta Gorda Boat Club held a coastal cleanup at Ponce de Leon Park on Saturday morning. More than 60 club members participated in the event that collected over two dozen bags of garbage that included cigarette butts, automobile parts, and a childs old scooter. Bob Bridge, past Commodore for the Punta Gorda Boat Club, lends a hand during the clean-up.
