EUSTIS, Fla. (AP) — Lake County authorities are investigating after a 67-year-old man was killed when a large sign blew onto the road and hit the windshield of his motorcycle.

The Florida Highway Patrol has not released the man’s identity. He died at Florida Hospital in DeLand.

An FHP report says the man was killed Saturday when a commercial sign flew off from where it was posted and onto the road. The sign hit the motorcycle’s windshield, causing the driver to lose control. He ended up crashing into a wall.
