Roberts thrives in return to basics

DUNEDIN — Ryan Roberts uses a short mantra to remind himself how to approach his chances at the plate. It’s not a new philosophy, but an old one that had gotten away from him for a while.
“Basically for me it’s ‘Keep it simple, stupid,’” Roberts said. “Try to make solid contact.”
