PORT CHARLOTTE — On the outside, the stucco home with a manicured lawn and two-car garage on 18000 block of Bly Avenue looked much like all the other houses in this quiet neighborhood wrapped around Ollie Pond Park.
But on the inside Charlotte County Sheriff’s narcotics and street crimes unit members who jointly raided the house found an elaborate marijuana growing operation, along with 289 marijuana plants and two suspects Thursday.
