Perhaps as many as 200 migrant workers on a march from Fort Myers to the Lakeland headquarters of Publix will be stopping in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte on Monday and Tuesday to picket a local Publix store over the low pay that workers get for picking tomatoes.

Several local residents are working to provide meals and places to sleep for the protesters.
