NORTH PORT — A meeting of the newly appointed Imagine School at North Port governing board is set for 8 a.m. today in Sarasota, followed by another with the superintendent of the Sarasota County School District.

But that board meeting isn’t being recognized by Imagine School principal Justin Matthews, who on Tuesday got a judge’s approval to stay at the helm of North Port’s only charter school.
