SARASOTA COUNTY — Those looking for affordable housing in the area can continue to look to the Community Housing Trust of Sarasota County, after county commissioners on Wednesday granted the organization $120,000 for operating expenses, allowing it to keep moving forward.

“We’re thrilled with the County Commission’s decision to support us, to extend our life and the faith they have in us to move forward and to provide such an important service to Sarasota County, said CHT Executive Director Tanya Lukowiak.
