Despite the controversy they are certain will ensue, Charlotte County officials said the East and West Spring Lake sewer project is a top priority for the county in 2013.

“You will have negativity on this, there’s no question about it,” County Administrator Ray Sandrock told commissioners recently. “You know it. We know it. But you have to weigh that against the good of the community.”
