Charlotte County Sheriff’s detectives have recovered nine of 11 stolen firearms, arrested 10 people, and issued warrants for four more suspects in connection with two separate cases this week, according to authorities.

Five people were arrested Wednesday in connection with the theft of nine weapons and a large but undisclosed amount of cash from a home in Englewood. Six of the weapons were recovered from an Englewood East canal by a Sheriff’s Office dive team, and another was recovered during an undercover sting Jan. 31 in Sarasota County.
