Indiana University co-defensive coordinator Mike Ekeler hoped the Hoosiers signed Charlotte High School linebacker Clyde Newton on National Signing Day.

But he acknowledged if coach Kevin Wilson wanted Clyde Newton the Charlotte running back, he’ll live with it.
