‘Potions in Motion’ drives learning
Lab experiments have long been used to help students discover the mysteries of matter and other curiosities of chemistry. Rarely, if ever, has such experimentation taken place on a bus.
Eighth-grade students at Port Charlotte Middle School will be treated to the experience in a sort of field trip without leaving the campus. It’s a new program by Tampa’s Museum of Science and Industry, also known as MOSI. Instead of going to the museum lab, the lab will come to the students. Called Potions in Motion, the chemistry lab on wheels is one of six traveling programs of MOSI in Motion: Mobile Science Lab.
