A Charlotte County Sheriff’s Warrants Unit detective arrested a 17-year-old boy Thursday night at his Port Charlotte home who is now charged as an adult on 11 felony cocaine drug charges. Anthony Jean Willis, of the 3500 block of Port Charlotte Boulevard, was originally arrested Oct. 17 as a juvenile and sent to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Fort Myers. The state has now decided to charge him as an adult. Willis remains in the Charlotte County Jail on no bond. He is charged in connection with four undercover drug buys by CCSO Narcotics detectives on Sept. 11, 13, 14, and 17, 2012.
