A fundraiser for the Arts & Humanities Council’s Art Therapy Training Program for Dementia and memory loss, Expressions from Beautiful Minds, was held Saturday at Visani in Port Charlotte. Lunch was served, followed by a fashion show. The purpose of the program is to support caretakers through free workshops to help those with dementia express themselves through art. Local doctors served as models, wearing fashions provided by Guiditta’s in Punta Gorda. An additional fundraiser will be a dinner dance held April 27. For more information visit the website www.charlottearts.org or call 941-764-8100.
