SARASOTA COUNTY — The Sarasota County School District and representatives from local governments emerged from Friday’s Convocation of Governments meeting with a positive outlook of the future of workforce development and shared school facilities in the county.

The meeting, held at Sarasota County Technical Institute in Sarasota, included representatives from North Port, Sarasota, Venice and Longboat Key.
