A great horned owl and an owlet were sighted at the Punta Gorda History Park by Penny Stiffler, who snapped this photo. She and her husband Bob have been year-round residents of Punta Gorda for 21 years. "I followed the owls and their fledglings last year and look forward to doing the same this year. This was my first sighting of a fledgling this year," Penny wrote in an email.
