Special day for Special Olympians

Once again the Special Olympics Charlotte County basketball team, coached by Gloria Spanic, won its second annual game Sunday against the “Force” — the Punta Gorda Police Department team, 64-26. The game was played on the courts at South County Regional Park, Punta Gorda before a crowd of standing room only.
