SARASOTA COUNTY — The Sarasota County School Board received an update from attorney Art Hardy Tuesday night on its legal obligations regarding the approved construction of a school bus depot planned soon for eight acres off Citizens Parkway, near Price and Toledo Blade boulevards in North Port.

“We know if we can reduce the distance our buses need to travel, we save on fuel and time, which converts to money,” said Superintendent Lori White.
