School district to hold Code Red drill

DESOTO COUNTY — The School District of DeSoto County will hold a drill at the DeSoto County High School as response to the tragedy that took place in December in Newtown, Conn.
Following that sad event, the district has been looking into establishing a school safety committee, explained Superintendent Karyn Gary.
