‘Birds of a feather’ share zest for whimsy, life

PORT CHARLOTTE — It started as a quirky prank between husband and wife. Evelyn Janos, 67, placed plastic flamingos in the front yard of her local home.
“I used to do it when I lived in Michigan,” she explained. “It was kind of a joke.”
