PORT CHARLOTTE — Joanne Wood-Ellison is happy to tell you her business is going to the dogs.
Wood-Ellison’s The Artful Canine — a dog-accessories factory store that humbly began in her North Port home in 2010 — has just expanded to a new location at 1264 Market Circle in Port Charlotte. The Artful Canine offers custom-made dog collars and leashes, coordinating step-in harnesses, I.D. tags, charms and a host of grooming products.
