PORT CHARLOTTE — An argument between a married couple turned violent Thursday night when the wife grabbed a food skewer and stabbed her husband a half-dozen times on his arms and stomach, according to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s report.

Tammy Ellen Chance, 29, of the 900 block of Silver Springs Terrace, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident.
