On Election Night, another battle was being waged down the street from the elections office, as the war of words between Arcadia City Councilwoman Alice Frierson and Councilman Joe Fink forced Mayor Keith Keene to intervene.

At the start of the City Council meeting, Frierson asked that approval of the Oct. 16 minutes be pulled for discussion, rather than have them admitted into the record by vote. Immediately, Fink asked that the Oct. 2 minutes be pulled as well.
