Dino Fanti is producing as a backup defensive lineman for the Eastern Illinois University football team.

The Venice High School graduate is part of a rotation at nose guard. Through eight games (5-3), the redshirt freshman had 15 tackles, including three for loss. He also has been a blocker for the punter on the only special teams unit he plays.
