SCF president voted out; 2 trustees resign
Lars Hafner
In what seemed to be the grand finale of months of conflict between school leaders, State College of Florida trustees unanimously voted to sever ties with president Lars Hafner through a $363,000 settlement agreement Tuesday evening. And to the surprise of some, two trustees decided to leave with him.
Shortly after Hafner and board chairman Carlos Beruff signed the agreement, entitling Hafner to accrued vacation, sick leave and one year’s salary upon an immediate resignation, trustees Jennifer Saslaw and Joe Miller handed in letters of resignation, effective immediately.
