In describing what he sees as the focus and goal of a school superintendent, the man who has held that position in DeSoto County for the last 24 years said, “The No. 1 priority of a superintendent of schools is the student and his or her achievement; to see them graduate, prepared for the future.”

“This priority begins in elementary school; we address the issues that threaten it and we stay on course with the right emphases,” Adrian H. Cline added.
