NORTH PORT — Robert Romanski, the new artistic director and principal conductor of the North Port Symphony, will debut on Sunday leading a Veterans Day-inspired concert called “Let Freedom Ring.”
Romanski succeeds outgoing conductor Sasha von Dassow, who moved back to his home state of Washington at last season’s conclusion. Romanski said Sunday’s concert, the opener of the symphony’s 29th season, will feature patriotic music from a variety of composers.
