The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested 293 people over a 25-day span as part of a statewide task force aimed at getting felony offenders off the streets. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office announced it made 236 felony arrests, 91 probable cause arrests and served an additional 152 felony warrants in the same sweep.
During a press conference on Thursday, CCSO Chief and Sheriff-elect Bill Prummell announced that the individuals arrested have 555 charges among them, many of which are drug-related.
