PUNTA GORDA — The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested 293 people over a 25-day span as part of a statewide task force aimed at getting felony offenders off the streets.

During a press conference on Thursday, CCSO Chief and Sheriff-elect Bill Prummell announced that the individuals arrested have 555 charges among them, many of which are drug-related.
