In an open demonstration held on the Pirate football field Oct. 19, the Port Charlotte High Pride Marching Band showcased their talent under the direction of band director Jose Lopez. Playing the vibraphone and the big drums, freshmen Max Joseph bangs out the start of “Apollo 13,” one of their competition pieces for this year.
