DESOTO COUNTY — The DeSoto Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved an ordinance Tuesday night that would extend for one more year a moratorium on owning or operating a pain clinic within county limits.

The current moratorium expires at the end of November. The ordinance, in fact, would “allow the board by resolution to further extend it for one more year beyond its expiration in 2013,” explained County Attorney Don Conn.
