The Charlotte County Industrial Development Authority is seeking tenants for a 20,000-square-foot building near the Punta Gorda Airport that was vacated earlier this year after the IDA severed its business relationship with luxury yacht maker Australia Yachts.

In a deal that fell flat before it ever fully got off the ground, the IDA and the yacht manufacturer agreed to part ways in July, leaving the county saddled with a two-year lease for which it prepaid through to next year. The building is currently vacant and for sale.
