MIAMI (AP) — The family of a man trapped in rubble days after a parking garage collapsed at a Florida college say they are frustrated by what they call a lack of urgency in trying to find him.

Dozens of Robert Budhoo’s family members held signs and yelled at police and fire officials at the site on Saturday. His wife, Laurel Budhoo, told the Miami Herald the that if he’s alive, authorities are “not trying to save him, and if he’s dead, they’re leaving him to rot.”

Robert Budhoo, 53, was one of the workers trapped after a portion of the five-story garage at Miami Dade College’s west campus fell to the ground Wednesday.

Three construction workers were killed.

The campus remains closed.
