Charlotte Chamber hands out awards

Charlotte County Chamber's Nonprofit Business of the Year was awarded to Peter Keating, with Florida Gulf Coast University, for his work in the community, providing guidance and counseling to new and existing businesses.

The Charlotte County Chamber award for Small Business of the Year was given to Port Charlotte Florist, where Dennis Gill came up to accept the award during their annual banquet held on Saturday.

The award for Large Business of the Year for the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce was given to Integrity Employee Leasing during the annual banquet held at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center.

The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce awarded their most prestigious award, the Pacesetter Award, to Mike Riley for over 22 years of community involvement and positive example of service.
