NORTH PORT — Season 1
of North Port’s “Survivor” series ended Wednesday night, with the finale starring City Commissioner David Garofalo as the hero giving straight answers to citizens’ questions in the telephone town hall.

Season 2 already has been approved by city commissioners, who each took a solo turn in the five-part event, beginning early in May with Commission Chairman Tom Jones taking calls.
