PUNTA GORDA — Perhaps the two best words to describe Tuesday’s tri-match between Venice, Charlotte and Port Charlotte high schools would be wet and confusing.

In the end, Venice kept its unbeaten season intact by scoring a five-hole total of 87, beating Charlotte (111) and Port Charlotte (122).
