At age 74, Don Youso not only still drives but he also drives with a cause. He delivers food for Meals on Wheels throughout Port Charlotte, and he said he’s encountered countless seniors who are faced with a very tough decision.

Many are without families and have few friends who can drive; without the use of their vehicle, he said, they would be faced with total isolation, and the fear of being helpless often outweighs the need to hand over the keys to their cars, even when they know they should.
