Manta Rays beat Bobcats, Mother Nature

NORTH PORT — What was supposed to be a crucial contest between local rivals became a race with Mother Nature on Tuesday.
Lemon Bay and North Port high schools hustled to get in an official match before the rains came at Heron Creek. They just made it under the gun, playing five holes as the Manta Rays won, 88-104.
