CAPE CORAL — When Hayley Smith raises her lanky, long frame skyward, defenses fall back.
After smacking a kill deep into the right corner Tuesday night to break a 6-6 tie in the second set, Smith leapt upward again, faked a slam and tapped the ball to an empty frontcourt.
