The North Port Soccer League is the beneficiary of a donation package from Palm Chevrolet Buick GMC of Punta Gorda, including soccer kits, a $500 sponsorship check, and an opportunity to raise more funds.
NORTH PORT — Palm Chevrolet Buick GMC of Punta Gorda has teamed with the North Port Soccer League to provide its players and coaches with soccer kits filled with equipment bags, pop-up nets, sport cones, scrimmage vests, T-shirts, a $500 sponsorship check, and an opportunity to help them raise even more funds.
Dave McKinney, the league’s assistant director of coaching, said the act of generosity came from a simple phone call to Cherie George, Palm’s director of marketing.
