ENGLEWOOD — Four area schools begin the cross country season this morning at the Lemon Bay Invitational at Lemon Bay High School.

Lemon Bay, Port Charlotte, North Port and Venice are among the 13 schools scheduled to compete in the five-kilometer races, Lemon Bay coach Joe Casale said.
