New Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity homeowner Holly Wollschlager hugs Shari Wicks, representing Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, after receiving a Bible during the dedication of Wollschlager’s new home Thursday in Port Charlotte. Other gifts were donated by the American Red Cross, Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity, Daughters of the American Revolution, Church Women United of Charlotte County, Edison Collegiate High School, Legeres Concrete Specialties and St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity held a dual home dedication for Holly Wollschlager and her sons, Ashton Wollschlager, 7, Nicholas Corridino, 12, and Christopher Corridino, 14; along with neighbor John Piepmeier, Thursday morning on Liddy Street in Port Charlotte.
