Students lined up on Wednesday to take a pledge against texting while driving.
PUNTA GORDA — Every teenager standing in line had a different story or scenario. Some of them were funny, others were tragic.
Raven Gossett, 15, said her mother was sending a text when she ran over an alligator crossing the road. Although she is not old enough to drive on her own, that experience was enough for Raven to decide to take a future oath to never text while she is driving.
