PORT CHARLOTTE — Kyle Kemp and Jovian Medina bring regional tournament experience to the Pirate boys team this season, and it showed Tuesday.

Port Charlotte High School beat North Port and DeSoto County at Port Charlotte Golf Club as Kemp was the medalist with a 39. The Pirates had a 171 to 190 for North Port and 230 for DeSoto County. Medina shared runner-up honors with North Port’s Clayton Meiron as both carded 40s.
