Local laborers get tough, survive
After learning his trade as an apprentice for a plumber back in the 1980s, Kevin Brozanski of Port Charlotte started his own septic system business. It provided a livelihood for the next 20 years, until it went out of business in 2006 amid the economic crash.
After stints at several other jobs in the past few years, Brozanski recently returned to the same plumber who had hired him more than 20 years ago, and got his old job back. He’s now busy doing plumbing repairs.
