4-H clubs hold open house to start new year

Jackie Bruckner talks to Tara Finley, 8, about the new Advanced Horse Club, aimed at the more experienced riders. To join the club you must own your own horse or have access to a horse. This club goes into more depth on different riding styles and more advance horse topics, and includes lots of hands on experience.

The annual 4-H Open House, held Thursday at the County Extension Office, is an opportunity for the various clubs to show children what they have to offer. Children and their parents had a chance to learn about all the clubs at one time and see which activities they might like to join.
