North Port High School principal David Jones talks in his office on Friday. With the first two weeks of school under his belt, he said he feels incredibly lucky to be at NPHS.
NORTH PORT — David Jones is two weeks into his tenure as North Port High School principal. After years of having a side gig as a stage magician, he still can’t resist showing off his three-card-monte trick. He claims he’s slow, but even with careful observation, there’s no way to tell how he pulls off the switcheroo.
“It’s like learning a musical instrument. It takes years,” he said with a grin Friday.
