NORTH PORT — The North Port Mustangs Pop Warner organization is still taking registrations for youth football and cheerleading for the 2012 season at Larry Thoennissen Field behind the George Mullen Activity Center, off Sumter Boulevard near North Port City Hall. Signups for kids ages 5-14 will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today through Friday at the field’s concession stand. Costs are $175 for football and $215 for cheer, with $100 deposit due at time of registration.
